A senior team, on purpose. Not a bigger one.
Decorum Experience GmbH, with offices in Kevelaer on the Lower Rhine and in Berlin, designs, builds and operates business-critical software. Our clients typically come to us with something that already matters — a compliance deadline, a process running on spreadsheets, an SAP system nobody enjoys using — and no internal team free to fix it.
We are part of Decorum Group, alongside Decorum Consulting GmbH and Decorum Maritime — so a project can reach certified data protection expertise, SAP authorisation work, or maritime domain knowledge without leaving the group.
What does not change is who you deal with. Design, frontend, and backend with cloud and security are each owned by a senior specialist with a decade or more in that discipline, and those are the people you work with directly. No handovers, no requirements relayed through account managers, no gap between the team that scoped the work and the team that delivers it. That holds wherever your team sits: from Berlin and Kevelaer we work across Germany, from Hamburg to Munich, from Cologne and Düsseldorf to Frankfurt.
Our principles
Senior only
Every person on your project has ten years or more in their discipline. Nobody learns their craft on your budget.
We run what we build
We stay responsible for the software in production. That single fact changes every architectural decision we make.
Audit-ready by default
Role-based access control, OAuth 2.0, traceable data flows and GDPR-conscious architecture from the first commit, not retrofitted before a review.
Users before features
Enterprise software should be as intuitive as any modern app. We research the people who have to use it every day, then design for them.
Honest scope
We tell you what the project actually needs, including when that is less than you asked for, or when we are not the right partner for it.
Continuous learning
SAP and the web both move. We keep current across Fiori, UI5, React, TypeScript and the cloud tooling around them, because our clients depend on it.
The disciplines, and who owns them
These are the people you work with directly, from the first conversation through to operations.
Design & UX
User research, information architecture, wireframes through interactive prototypes, design refinement and user acceptance testing. Fiori design guidelines where SAP is involved.
Frontend & UI Engineering
SAP UI5, Fiori and Fiori Elements alongside React and TypeScript. Performance work through lazy loading, caching and efficient rendering. Test automation with QUnit and Playwright.
Backend, Cloud & Security
Java and Spring Boot, microservice architectures, OData and REST APIs, PostgreSQL and SAP HANA. OAuth 2.0, Keycloak and role-based access control. Docker, Ansible and CI/CD through to operations.
Design & UX
Aline Schäller
UX/UI Lead Designer
12 years in UX and UI design, Master’s in Social Communication and Media. Owns user research, information architecture and interface design — from first sketch to tested prototype.
Frontend & UI Engineering
Florian Konwischer
Senior Software & UI Engineer
10 years of frontend engineering, Master’s in Information Systems (Freie Universität Berlin). Builds interfaces in SAP UI5, Fiori, React and TypeScript — including test automation with QUnit and Playwright.
Backend, Cloud & Security
Benito Konwischer
Senior Java Developer
10 years of backend and cloud engineering. Owns Java and Spring Boot, data models in PostgreSQL and SAP HANA, authentication with Keycloak and OAuth 2.0, plus deployment and operations.
What we can evidence
We hold no certifications and we do not claim any. What follows is capability we have delivered in production, plus the expertise we can draw on inside Decorum Group.
Part of Decorum Group. For data protection and SAP authorisation topics we work with Decorum Consulting GmbH, whose certified data protection officer supports our projects.
